CLASSIFICATION ON AMEND~LENT APPLICATION 495
AND ~ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10

COMMISSION HAS RECOMMENDED DENIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~mnission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 495, filed
by GERALDINE R~£H and BERTHA BOUCHIE for a change in District
Classification from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and said
Commission has recommended DENIAL of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden
Avenue intersects the center line of Fairview Street; thence
southerly along the center line of Fairview Street for a
distance of 157 feet, more or less, to that point where said
center line intersects the center line of an alley; thence
easterly along the center line of said alley for a distance
of 193.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairview Street
for a distance of 157 feet, more or less, to the center line
of McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of
McFadden Avenue for a distance of 193.5 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District
and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 495 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 15th d~y of June, 1964.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 1st day of June, 1964, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of June,
1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to wit:
