SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 505
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9
(KX}{IBIT AA 505 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Ccmunission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 505, filed by
RITA WRITER and MARY C. CAPASSO for a change in District classifi-
cations from the R-1 and R-3 Districts to the c-5 District, and said
Co~m~ission has recommended approval of said reclassifications from
the R-1 and R-3 Districts to the C-5 and R-lB Districts in accordance
with Exhibit AA 505 B providing for off-street parking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendments and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL
1: Beginning at that point where the center line of Sixth
Street intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
easterly along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance
of 186 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for
a distance of 208.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Sixth
Street for a distance of 4 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 190 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence northerly
along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 258.5
feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street and
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification An accordance with Exhibit AA 505 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL
2: Beginning at a point on the center line of Sixth Street
located 186 feet, more or less, easterly from that point
where the center line of Sixth Street intersects the center
line of Grand Avenue, said point being also the northeasterly
corner of~;Parcel 1 hereinabove described; thence easterly
along the center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 43
feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a
distance of 158.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Sixth
Street for a distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sixth Street for a distance of 163 feet, more
or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 208.5
feet, more or less, to the center line of Sixth Street and
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-3 Districts to the R-lB
District and Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 505 B.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
fro~ and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 6th day of July, 1964, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July,
1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by said
Council by the following vote, to wit:
