SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 510
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 510 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 510, filed by
VINCENT A. RAYA, ET AL., for a change in District classification
from the A-1 District to the R-2 District, and said Commission has
recomunended approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point located 1,335 feet, more or less,
southerly from the center line of Bolsa Avenue and 190 feet,
more or less, easterly from the center line of Newhope
Street, said point being on the easterly line of property
zoned R-2 and fronting on Newhope Street; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 470 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Newhope Street for a distance of 346 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bolsa.Avenue .~ for a distance
of 470 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Newhope Street
for a distance of 346 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 510 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of August, 1964.
