ON A/~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 625 FILED BY CALVIN
T. ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 625 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 625, filed by
CALVIN T. ROHRS for a change in District classification from the
R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District, and said Commission, by its
Resolution 5840, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit AA 625 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Grand Avenue
intersects the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence
Westerly along the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 498.5 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING; thence continuing westerly along said center line
of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 375 feet,
more or less; thence Easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a
distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence Southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand
Avenue for a distance of 375 feet, more or less, to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit Ak 625 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1968.

Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on the 1st day of July, 1968, and was again considered by said Council
at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of July, 1968, and at said
meeting was passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
