ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 530 FILED BY DAVID J.
AND DOLORES M. OLIVAS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 530 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 530, filed by
DAVID J. and DOLORES M. OLIVAS for a change in District classification
from the A-1 District to the R~2 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit AA 530 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Newhope Street
located 1170 feet, more or less, southerly from that point
where 'the center line of Newhope Street intersects the
center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue
for a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; thence southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Newhope Street for a distance
of 145 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa Avenue
for a distance of 470 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Newhope Street for a distance of 165 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 470 feet,
more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-2 District,
and Sectional District l~ap 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 530 B.
SECTION 2: %~at this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of January, 1965.

sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 18th day
of January, 1965, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
