ON A~ENDMENT APPLICATION 531, FILED BY EDDY
MEREDITH, AND At'LENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 531 B)
WHEREAs, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 531, filed by EDDY
~VIEREDITH for a change in District Classification from the A-1
District to the R-1 District, and said Commission has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 531 B
reclassifying said property to the 60-R1-7200 District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue
located 1968.6 feet, more or less, westerly from that point
where the center line of Santa Clara Avenue intersects the
center line of Tustin Avenue; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue
for a distance of 212 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 143 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 836 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a lane approximately
parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a
distance of 415.1 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin
Avenue for a distance of 1048 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along the
center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 272 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the 60~R1-7200
District, and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 531 B.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.
