ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 536 FILED BY RICHARD
A. MEREDITH AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 536 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 536, filed by
RICHARD A. MEREDITH for a change in District classification from the
R-4 District to the 60-R1-7200 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue
which is located 1160.9 feet, more or less, westerly from that
point where the center line of Santa Clara Avenue intersects
the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for
a distance of 727 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara
Avenue for a distance of 131.4 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to~%e center line
of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 135 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 435.1 feet, more
or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of
664.6 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a
distance Of 1099.8 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara
Avenue for a distance of 120.7 feet, more or less; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 212 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly along
the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 544 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-4 District to the 60-R1-7200 District
and Sectional District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 536 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1965.

I, DORIS M. BROWN, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of
the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 15th day of March, 1965, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of
April, 1965, and was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
