ON ~E~DlviENT APPLICATION HO. 538 FILED BY LIDO
CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION AND ~NDI~G SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 4-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 538 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 538, filed b~
LIDO CONSTRUCTION CORPORA'~IO~ for a change in District classification
fr~a the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and said Comn~ission has
reco~%ended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit 538 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amen~nent and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to bhe surrounding
property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA Ai~A DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue
located 330 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where
the center line of Santa Clara Avenue intersects the center line
of Tustin Avenue; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of
660 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance
of 990.3 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line of
the Newport Freeway; thence southerly along said right of way line
for a distance of 574.6 feet, more or less; thence southwesterly
along the northerly right of way line of the Newport Freeway off-
ramp for a distance of 564.8 feet, more or less; thence sout~nerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin
Avenue for a distance of 50 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of
426.9 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-4 District to the R-1 District, and
Sectional District Map 4-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 538 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa

Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance was

on the 19th day of April, 1965, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of May, 1965, and
was at said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote,
to wit:
