ON ~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 544 FILED BY JOSEPH
H. NEY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT i~AP 23-5-10

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amen~nent Application No. 544, filed by
JOSEPH H. NEY for a change in District classification from the R-2
District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit 544 A;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: 'l~hat the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Bristol Street
intersects the center line of St. Andrew Place; thence westerly
along the center line of St. Andrew Place for a distance of
180 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
142.2 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of St. Andrew Place for a distance of
180 feet, more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street; thence
southerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 142.2 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C~5 District, and
Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 544 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of May, 1965.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 19th day of April, 1965, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day
of May, 1965, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
