DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION
NO. 556, FILED BY CLYDE BISHOP, ET AL., AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 32-4-9
(EXHIBIT AA 556 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~=aission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 556, filed by
CLYDE M., ETHEL R., and DEWITT BISHOP, proposing to prezone and
establish district classification frc~ the County of Orange A-1
DistrAct to the City of Santa Ana C-5 District, and said Co~unission
has rec~endedAPPROVAL of said prezoning in accordance with
Exhibit 556-B reclassifying said property from the County of Orange
A-1 District to the City of Santa Ana C-5 and R-1 Districts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ARA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Glassell Street located
192 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where the center
line of Glassell Street intersects the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Glassell Street
for a distance of 373 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue
for a distance of 495 feet, more or less; thence southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Glassell Street
for a distance of 565 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of
Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 293 feet, more or less; thence
northerly along a line approximatelyparallel to the center line
of Glassell Street for a distance of 192 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 202 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Glassell Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby prezoned as being in the City of Santa Ana C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 32-4-9 is hereby amended to show the establish-
ment of this prezoning and classification in accordance with Exhibit
AA 556 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Glassell Street
intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence northerly
along the center line of Glassell Street for a distance of 192 feet,
more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 202 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Glassell Street for a d/stance of 192 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence
westerly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance
of 202 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby prezoned as being in the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and
Sectional District Map 32-4-9 is hereby amended to show the establish-
ment of this prezoning and classification in accordance with Exhibit
AA 556 B.

SECTION 3: That this prezoning and classification shall
become effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described
property is annexed to the City of Santa Ana or thirty days from
and after the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall
be the later date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ans at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of October, 1965.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 20th day of September, 1965, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 4th day
of October, 1965, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
