ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 567, FILED BY BRUCE
GELKER, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT i~P 17-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 567, filed by
BRUCE GELKER for a change in District classification from the R-3
District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit 567 A;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: 'i91at the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Lyon Street located
311 feet, more or less, southerly from that point where the center
line of Lyon Street intersects the center line of First Street;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of First Street for a distance of 265 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Lyon Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
First Street for a distance of 265 feet, more or less, to the center
line of Lyon Street; thence southerly along the center line of Lyon
Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 567 A.
SECTION 2: ~fhat this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th ~a~ of December, %965.
