ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 574, FILED BY HAROLD T.
SEGERSTROM, ET AL., AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 26-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 574 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 574, filed by
HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, ET AL., for a change in District Classification
from the R-1 and R-4 Districts to the C-4 District, and said
Commission, by its Resolution No. 5759, has recommended APPROVAL of
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit 574 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Bristol Street located
192 feet, more or less, southerly from that point where said center
line intersects the center line of SegerstromAvenue; thence south-
erly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
758.7 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of SegerstromAvenue for a
distance of 440.1 feet, more or less~ thence northerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 805.7 feet, more or less; thence northwesterly
for a distance of 109.2 feet, more or less, to the southerly right
of way line of Segerstrom Avenue; thence northerly for a distance
of 42 feet, more or less, to the center line of Segerstr~ Avenue;
thence easterly along the center line of Segerstrom Avenue for a
distance of 286.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 192 feet, more or less; thence easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Segerstro~
Avenue for a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to the center
line of Bristol Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-4 Districts to the C4 Dis~ct,
and Sectional DistrictMap 26-5-10 is he=eby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 574 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
frc~ and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of February, 1966.
