ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 577 FILED BY RUSSELL
ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after public hearing on
notice, has recommended approval of reclassification of property,
herein described, from the R-1 District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts
on Amendment Application No. 577, filed by RUSSELL ROHRS; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing, on
notice, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the new
classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
parcel 1:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Seventeenth Street
located 2203.6 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where
the center line of Seventeenth Street intersects the center line
of Tustin Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of
Seventeenth Street for a distance of 727.6 feet, more or less, to
the proposed center line of an unnamed street; thence southerly
along said proposed center line for a distance of 544.8 feet, more
or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 728.6 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the proposed center line of said unnamed street for a distance
of 546.1 feet, more or less, to the center line of Seventeenth
Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 577 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 2:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Parcel 1, hereinabove
described, said point being located 546.1 feet, more or less,
southerly from the center line of Seventeenth Street; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 728.6 feet, more or less,
to the proposed center line of said unnamed street; thence
southerly along said proposed center line for a distance of
100 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance
of 728.6 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of
100 feet, more or less, to the southwest corner of Parcel 1,
hereinabove described, and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 577 B.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.

Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of March, 1966.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 21st day of February, 1966, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of March, 1966, and
at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following vote,
