ON AMF~NDMENT APPLICATION NO. ,581 FILED BY INCOME
CENTERS INC., AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 14-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 581 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~ission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 581, filed by
INCOME CENTERS INC., for a change in District classification from
the M-1 District to the R-4 District, and said Commission has
rec~,.,ended approval of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit 581 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Chestnut Avenue
intersects the center line of Daisy Avenue; thence westerly along
the center line of Chestnut Avenue for a distance of 1005 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Center Street; thence northerly
along the center line of Center Street for a distance of 439 feet,
more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Chestnut Avenue for a distance of 779.1 fee~
more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Daisy Avenue for a distance of 134 feet,
more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Chestnut Avenue for a distance of 225.9 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along the center line of Daisy Avenue
for a distance of 305 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the R-4 District, and
Sectional District Map 14-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 581 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the l~th day of April, 1966.

of April, 1966, and was again considered by said Council at its regular
meeting held on the 18th day of April, 1966, and at said meeting was
regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
