ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 628 FILED BY C. B.
KNICKERBOCKER ANDAMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 628 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 628, filed by
C. B. KNICKERBOCKER for a change in District classification from the
R-3 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission, by its Resolution
5847, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance
with Exhibit AA 628 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Stafford
Street intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
westerly along the center line of Stafford Street for a
distance of 145 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand
Avenue for a distance of 173.4 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Stafford Street for a distance of 145 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence southerly
along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of
173.4 feet, more or less~ to the point of beginning.
is hereby reclassfied from the R-3 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 628 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1968.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
on the 5th day of August, 1968, and was again considered by said Council
at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1968, and at said
meeting was passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
