ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 648 FILED BY ALBAN
HOLTZ AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 18-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 648 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 648 filed
by ALBAN HOLTZ for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the R-4 and C-4 Districts, and said Commission,
by its Resolution 5893, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 648-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue
intersects the center line of Standard Avenue; thence southerly
along the center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7
feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 339.7 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7 feet,
more or less, to the center line of McFadden Avenue; thence
easterly along the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance
of 300.3 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line
of the Southern Pacific Railway Company; thence southerly along
said Southern Pacific Railway Company right of way line for a
distance of 875.7 feet, more or less, to the northerly boundary
line of an alley; thence westerly along the northerly boundary of
said alley for a distance of 640 feet, more or less, to the center
line of Standard Avenue; thence northerly along the center line
of Standard Avenue for a distance of 280 feet, more or less, to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District,
and Sectional District Map 18-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 648 A.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue
intersects the center line of Standard Avenue; thence southerly
along the center line of Standard Avenue for a distance of 595.7
feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of
approximately 339.7 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Standard
Avenue for a distance of 595.7 feet, more or less, to the center
line of McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center line
of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 339.7 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-4 District,
Sectional District Map 18-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 648 A.

SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of October, 1969.

of the Council of the City of Santa Ana, california; that the
foregoing Ordinance was introduced to said Council at its regular
meeting held on the 15th day of September, 1969, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 6th
day of October, 1969, and at said meeting was passed and adopted
by the following vote, to wit:
