CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 649
FILED BY JOHN ROHRS AND VERA B. ROHRS AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 5-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 649 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 649 filed
by JOHN ROHRS and VERA B. ROHRS proposing to prezone and establish
district classification from the County of Orange A-1 District to
the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and said Commission, by its
Resolution No. 5899, has recommended APPROVAL of said prezoning
and classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 649-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue
intersects the center line of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly
along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of
80 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
continuing westerly along the center line of Fairhaven Avenue
for a distance of 910 feet, more or less; thence southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin
Avenue for a distance of 1053.7 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 834.6 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence northerly along the
center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 994.2 feet, more
or less; thence westerly for a distance of 50.00 feet; thence
northwesterly for a distance of 42.8 feet, more or less; thence
northerly for a distance of 30 feet, more or less, to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby prezoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1
District to the City of Santa Ana R-4 District, and Sectional
District Map 5-5-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and
classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 649-A.
SECTION 2: This prezoning and classification shall become
effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described property
is annexed to the City of Santa Ana, or thirty days from and after
the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall be the
later date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of December, 1969.

foregoing Ordinance was introduced to said Council at its regular
meeting held on the 17th day of November, 1969, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st
day of December, 1969, and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
