ORDINANCE NS-1007 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 652 FILED BY APRICOT
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 36-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 652 A)
W}{EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 652 filed by
APRICOT DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION for a change in District Classi-
fication from the R-1 District to the CR District and from the
R-4 District to the CR District the property hereinbelow described;
and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5909, has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
AA 652 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that that parcel described as Parcel 1 be
reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-R District in accordance
with Exhibit AA 652 A; and that consideration of the remaining parcel
designated as parcel 2 be continued to the meeting of March 2, 1970;
and
WHEREAS, said reclassification of Parcel 1 will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of california, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Bristol Street
intersects the center line of MacArthur Boulevard; thence
northerly along the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 557 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Mac Arthur Boulevard for
a distance of 332.0 feet, more or less; thence southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 557 feet, more or less, to the center line of
MacArthur Boulevard; thence westerly along the center line of
MacArthur Boulevard for a distance of 332 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Bristol Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CR District,
Sectional District Map 36-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 652 A.
and
SECTION 2: That consideration of the reclassification of
the remaining parcel described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of MacArthur Boulevard
located 498 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where
the center line of MacArthur Boulevard intersects the center line
of Bristol Street;thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
555 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of MacArthur Boulevard for a distance
of 520 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance
of 541 feet, more or less, to the center line of MacArthur
Boulevard; thence westerly along the center line of MacArthur
Boulevard for a distance of 520 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning,
is hereby continued to the meeting of March 2, 1970;
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of March, 1970.

its meeting held on the 2nd day of March, 1970, and was at said
