ORDINANCE NS-1026 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 659 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 13-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 659-A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice and duly
held a public hearing on A~endment Application 659 initiated by
the Planning Commission proposing to reclassify from the R-3
District to the R-3H District the property herein below described;
and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5924, has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 659
A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notiee as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that said property be reclassified from
the R-3 District to the R-3H District in accordance with Exhibit
AA 659-A, and that the new classification will not be detrimental
to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Camille Street
intersects the center line of Flower Street; thence westerly along
the center line of Camille Street for a distance of 191 feet, more
or less; thence northerly along a line pDrallel to the center
line of Flower Street for a distance of 308 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Myrtle Street; thence easterly for a
distance of 18 feet, more or less, to the center line of an alley;
thence northerly along the center line of said alley for a distance
of 663 feet, more or less, to the center line of Pine Street;
thence easterly along the center line of Pine Street for a distance
of 173 feet, more or less, to the center line of Flower Street;
thence southerly along the center line of Flower Street for a
distance of 82 feet, more or less, to the center line of the
extension of Pine Street; thence easterly along the center line of
the extension of Pine Street for a distance of 149 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Flower Street for a distance of 372 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Walnut Street; thence easterly along
the center line of Walnut Street for a distance of 1689.3 feet,
more or less, to the center line of an alley; thence southerly
along the center line of said alley for a distance of 1,330.7
feet to the center line of Camille Street; thence westerly along
the center line of Camille Street for a distance of 1841 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Flower Street; th~nee
northerly for a distance of 726 feet, more or less, to the center
line of the westerly extension of Camille Street and the POINT
OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the R-3H District,
and Sectional District Map 13-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 659-A.

SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of August, 1970.

meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1970, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of
August, 1970, and was at said meeting passed and adopted by the
