ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 638 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 638 A)
WHEP~EAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 638, initiated
by the Planning Commission, for a change in District classification
from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4 District, and said
Commission has recommended,by its Resolution No. 5870, that said
reclassification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 638 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Baker Street
intersects the center line of Eighth Street; thence southerly
along the center lin~ of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet,
more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing
southerly along the center line of Baker Street for a distance
of 216 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a
distance of 217 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Baker Street for a
distance of 86 feet, more or less; thence east~rl~for a distance
of 64 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Baker Street for a distance
of 130 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a
distance of 153 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-4
District, and Sectional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to
show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 638 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.

the Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Ordinance
was introduced at a regular meeting of the city Council held on the
17th day of March, 1969, and was again considered by said Council at
its regular meeting held on the 7th day of April, 1969, and was at
said meeting passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
