EARL CORPORATION A_ND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 665 B) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 665 filed by O. K. EARL CORPORATION proposing to reclassify from the R-1 District to the LP District the property hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution 5931, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 665B; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on said reclassification on publiched notice as required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-1 District to the LP District and that the new classification will not he detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue intersects the center line of Fourth Street; thence northerly along the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 1681.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fruit Street; thence westerly along the center line of Fruit Street for a distance of 790 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly for a distance of 772.7 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fruit Street for a distance of 345.2 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 913.6 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street; thence easterly along the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 975 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the LP District, and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi- fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 665 B. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
