ORDINANCE NS-1075 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 680 FIT.RD BY HAROLD T.
SEGERSTROM AND HOWARD BEAR, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP $ 35-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 680-A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 680 filed by
HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM and HOWARD BEAR, proposing to reclassify
from the R-1 District to the CR District the property hereinbelow
described; and said Commission, by its Resolution 5955, has
recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit AA 680-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that said property be reclassified from
the R-1 District to the CR District, and that the new classifica-
tion will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Bristol Street
intersects the South City Boundary; thence westerly along the
South City Boundary for a distance of 991.86 feet, more or less,
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing westerly along
said City Boundary for a distance of 1024.4 feet, more or less,
to the Westerly City Limits at Bear Street; thence northerly
along said City Limits for a distance of 542 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Sunflower Avenue for a distance of 357 feet, more or
less; thence northerly for a distance of 279 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sunflower Avenue for a distance of 663 feet,
more or less; thence southerly for a distance of 822 feet,
more or less, to the southerly City Boundary and the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CR District,
and Sectional District Map 35-5-10 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 680-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of April, 1971.
