ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 691, FILED BY J. EUGENE
ROHRS AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 6-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 691, filed
by J. Eugene Rohrs proposing to reclassify from the C 4 and
R lB Districts to the R 2 and C 1 Districts the property
hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its Resolution
5974, has recommended approval of said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit A.A. 691-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by
law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require that said property be reclassified
from the C 4 and R lB Districts to the R 2 and C 1 Districts,
and that the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1.
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of Nineteenth Street and Lincoln Avenue;
thence westerly along the center line of Nine-
teenth Street for a distance of 639.6 feet;
thence southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Lincoln Avenue
for a distance of 288.4 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Seventeenth
Street for a distance of 639.7 feet more or
less to the center line of Lincoln Avenue;
thence north along the center line of Lincoln
Avenue for a distance of 289.4 feet more or
less to the intersection of the center lines
of Nineteenth Street and Lincoln Avenue and
the point of beginning is hereby classified
from the R lB and C 1 District to the R 2
District.
Parcel 2.
Beginning at the intersection of the center
lines of Nineteenth Street and Lincoln Avenue;
thence south along the center line of Lincoln
Avenue for a distance of 289.4 feet more or less
to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing
south along the center line of Lincoln Avenue for
a distance of 448.3 feet more or less to the
center line of Seventeenth Street; thence west
along the center line of Seventeenth Street for
a distance of 576 feet, more or less; thence
north along the southerly prolongation of the
westerly line of the above Parcel 1 for a
distance of 418.4 feet, more or less; thence
east along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Nineteenth Street and along the
southerly line of Parcel 1 for a distance of
639.7 feet more or less to the center line of
Lincoln Avenue and the True Point of Beginning is
hereby reclassified from the C 4 District to the
C 1 District.
is hereby reclassified from the C 4 and R lB Districts to the R 2
and C 1 Districts and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby
amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
A.A. 691-A.
SECTION 2: Thatthis Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of December
1971.
