ORDINANCE NS-1108 CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 695 FILED BY C. B.
KNICKERBOCKER AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT 695-A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 695, filed by
C. B. Knickerbocker proposing to rezone from the P District to
the C 2 District the property hereinbelow described; and said
Commission, by its Resolution 5980, has recommended approval of
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 695-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law, and
does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require that said property be rezoned from the P District
to the C 2 District, and that the new classification will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the intersection of Eleventh Street and Bush
Street, thence west along the center line of Eleventh
Street for a distance of 137 feet more or less; thence
north along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Bush Street for a distance of 156 feet more or
less to the center line of an alley and the True Point
of Beginning; thence west along the center line of said
alley for a distance of 38 feet more or less; thence south
along a line parallel to the center line of Bush Street
for a distance of 41 feet more or less; thence easterly
along a line parallel to the center line of Eleventh Street
for a distance of 38 feet more or less; thence northerly
along a line parallel to the center line of Bush Street for
a distance of 41 feet more or less to the center line of
the previous mentioned alley and the True Point of Beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the P District to the C 2 District and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 695-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 22 day of February , 1972.
