AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 2-103
OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO THE RULES OF ORDER TO BE FOLLOWED AT
MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 2-103 of the Santa Ana
Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:
Section 2-103: Rules of Order.
Unless a provision to the contrary is contained
in the charter of the City or in this Code, procedures before
the Council shall be governed by "Parliamentary Procedure at
a Glance" by O. Garfield Jones, published by Appleton-Century,
New York, which is an abbreviated form of Robert's Rules of
Order. In case of any dispute or doubt, "Robert's Rules of
Order, Newly Revised" shall control.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 14th
day of July , 1975.
