NS- 1345 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 755 FILED BY THE SANTA ANA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT REZONING PROPERTY FROM THE 0 (OPEN SPACE) DISTRICT TO THE Rl (SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 25-5-10 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 755, filed by the Santa Ana Unified School District to rezone property, generally located on the south side of Segerstrom Avenue between Bristol and Flower Streets from the 0 (Open Space) District to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District and said Commission has recommended approval of said application; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hear- ing on said reclassification on published notice required by law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the said property be reclassified from the 0 (Open Space) District to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District and that such new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA SECTION l: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, California, described as Parcel 4 on a map recorded in Book 22, page 3g of Parcel Maps, records of Orange County, is hereby reclassified from the 0 (Open Space) District to the R1 (Single-Family Residence) District, and that Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassifica- tion in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 755~A. SECTION 2: Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal hereby of any ordinance shall in any manner affect the prosecution for violation of ordinances, which violations were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be con- strued as affecting any of the provisions of such ordinance re- lating to the collection of any such license or penalty or the penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof, nor to affect the validity of any bond or cash deposit in lieu thereof, required to be posted, filed or deposited pursuant to any ordi- nance and all rights and obligations thereunder appertaining shall continue in full force and effect. the ADOPTED, this 2Sth day of January , 1977, by following vote: AYES, COUNCILMEN: Ward, Brandt, Ortiz, Yamamoto, Evans NOES, COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Garthe ATTEST' APPROVED AS TO FORM: KEITH L.
