ORDINANCE NO. NS- 1560
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PROVIDING
FOR THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ON MARCH 3, 1981
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That a General Municipal Election is
hereby called to be held in the City of Santa Ana, California,
on March 3, 1981. Said election date is prescribed by the
City Council of the City of Santa Ana for purposes of con-
solidating the said General Municipal Election with an
election to be held the same date by the Santa Ana Unified
School District, in accordance with Section 1201 of the
Charter of the City of Santa Ana.
SECTION 2: That the said General Municipal
Election is held to fill the office of four (4) members of
the City Council, to be nominated from Wards One, Three,
Five, and Seven, and to be elected at large by the electors
of the city, the term each to begin on April 14, 1981, or as
soon thereafter as the result of said election can be de-
clared, and to end on the second Tuesday in April, 1985; and
for the purpose of submitting to the electors of the city
such proposals for the amendment of the Charter of the city
as may be approved by the City Council.
