ORDINANCE NO. NS-1566
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ADDING SECTION
2-214 TO THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE
PERTAINING TO THE USE OF THE CITY
EMBLEM ON SOUVENIRS AND DECORATIVE
ITEMS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN that the Santa Ana Municipal Code, is hereby amended
by adding a section, to be numbered 2-214, which said
section reads as follows:
Sec. 2-214 Manufacture and Sale of
Souvenirs and Decorative Items.
Nothing in this Article shall prevent a person
from manufacturing or selling non-documentary objects, such
as souvenirs or decorative items, bearing the City emblem as
part of the design, provided that such person undertakes
such activity pursuant to agreement with the city, approved
by the city council or by such officer as the city council
may designate, containing such requirements and limitations
as the city council or such officer shall deem appropriate
to assure that such use of the city emblem is in good taste
and in the best interests of the City of Santa Ana.
