NS- 1583 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 850 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2718-2726 WESTMINISTER BOULEVARD FROM THE C1 (COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL) AND R1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICTS TO THE R2 - PRD (MULTIPLE FAMILY - PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL MAP NO. 10-5-10. WHEREAS, the real property located at 2718-2726 Westminster Boulevard and more particularly described infra, is located within the Cl (Community Commercial) and R1 (Single Family Residence) Districts, and WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 850 has been filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 10-5-10 to rezone such real property to the R2 - PRD (Multiple Family - Planned Residential Development) District, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application and has recommended approval thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on the said Amendment Application on published notice required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the said property be reclassified as requested in the said Amendment Application, and that the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. NO. 81-25), and, on the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, generally located at 2718-2726 Westminster Boulevard, and more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby reclassified from the C1 (Community Commercial) and R1 (Single Family Residence) Districts to the R2 - PRD (Multiple Family - Planned Residential Development) District, and that Sectional District Map No. 10-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 850-A. by the ADOPTED this 4th day of following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: ATTORNEY May , 1981, Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, McGuigan, Serrato None None /MAYOR Assessor's Parcel # IOI-B70-4I THE WE'J~T 4 ACRES CI~-' THE NORTHWEST QUARTr''R OF THE ~ORTHEAST QUARTER OF THF HORTHEAST I~tlARTER O~ SECTION 10, TOWNSHI~ 5 S~UTH, RANGE 10 WEST, S.
