NS-1621 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 870 TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF GRAND AVENUE BETWEEN FRUIT AND STAFFORD STREETS FROM THE SD-10 (SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT #10) DISTRICT TO THE LP (LIMITED PROFESSIONAL) DISTRICT AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9. WHEREAS, the real property located on the west side of Grand Avenue between Fruit and Stafford Streets and more particularly described infra, is located within SD-10 (Special Development 910) District, and WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 870 has been filed to amend Sectional District Map NO. 7-5-9 to rezone said real property to the LP (Limited Professional) District, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application and has recommended approval thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on the said Amendment Application on published notice required by law and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the said property be reclassified as requested in the said Amendment Application, and that the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property, and WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 81-182), and, on the basis thereof, finds that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real prope/rty situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, generally located on the west side of Grand Avenue between Fruit and Stafford Streets, and more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein as though fully set forth, is hereby reclassified from the SD- 10 (Special Development ~10) District to the LP (Limited Professional) District, and that Sectional District Map No. 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 870-A. ADOPTED this 18th day of 0anuar¥ , 1982, by the following vote: AYES: NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: COUNCILMEMBERS: Acosta, Bricken, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, Serrato None ABSENT: COUNC ILMEMBERS: McGuigan ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: MAYOR ~EGAL DESCRIPTION A.A. 870 Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 10, Tract 1331, as shown on a map recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 50, Page 1, Official Records of Orange County, California, said point also Delng the True Point of Beginning: Thence westerly along the south line of Tract 1331, 158.5 + feet to a point 50.05 feet easterly of the southwest cornet of said tract; thence southerly along a line approximately perpendicular to the centerline of Fruit Street, 171 feet to the centerline of Fruit Street; thence easterly along the centerline of Fruit Street to the point of intersection with the center- line or Grand Avenue; thence northerly along the centerline of Grand Avenue to the point of intersection with the center- line o~ sta~ord Street; thence westerly along the centerllne o~ Sta~rord Street, 93 + feet to the point of intersection with the northerly prolongation of the west line of Lot 10, Tract 1331, as previously referenced; thence southerly along the west llne o~ LOt 10, tract 1331, and its northerly prolongation, 183.4 feet to the True Point of Beginning. ~XHIBIT "A"
