AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
APPROVING AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 866
TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 802 EAST
PINE STREET FROM THE M1 (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL)
DISTRICT TO THE R3H (HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP NO. 18-5-9.

WHEEEAS, the real property located at 802 East
Pine Street and more particularly described infra, is located
within the M1 (Light Industrial) District, and
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 866 has been
filed to amend Sectional District Map No. 18-5-9 to rezone
such real property to the R3H (High Density Multiple-Family
Residential) District, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice
of and duly held a public hearing on said Amendment Application
and has recommended approval thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public
hearing on the said Amendment Application on published
notice required by law and does now find that the public
necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that the
said property be reclassified as requested in the said
Amendment Application, and that the new classification will
not be detriment~al to the surrounding property, and
WHEREAS, prior to taking this action the City
Council has reviewed and considered the information contained
in Negative Declaration (I.S. No. 81-160), and, on the basis
thereof, finds that.the project will not have a significant
effect on the environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN that the real property situated in the
City' of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California,
generally located at 802 East Pine Street and more particularly
described as Lots 4, 5, 6, and 7, of Block "C", French's
addition to Santa Ana, as recorded in Book 23, Page 41, of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, is hereby
reclassified from the M1 (Light Industrial) District to the
R3H (High Density Multiple-Family Residential) District, and
that Sectional District Map No. 18-5-9 is hereby amended to
show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA
866-A.
