ORDINANCE NO. NS-1772
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT
300 NORTH JACKSON STREET FROM THE O
(OPEN SPACE) DISTRICT TO THE R2-PRD
(MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENCE - PLANNED
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT
W~EREAS, Amendment Application No. 916 has been filed
to make certain changes in the zoning district designations of
certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed
public hearing, has recommended approval of the changes in use
district designations as proposed in said Amendment Application;
and
WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance,
has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this
project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this
project based thereon; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear-
ing, has determined that the changes in use district designations
proposed in the abovesaid Amendment Application are justified by
the public necessity, convenience and general welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
CITY OF SANTA
1. That parcel of real property located generally at 300
North Jackson Street in the City of Santa Ana, and more specif-
ically described as follows:
The East 145 feet of the South 150 feet of
the North half of Lot 1 in Tract No. 937,
as per map thereof recorded in Book 32,
page 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California;

is hereby reclassified from the 0 (Open Space)
R2 - P RD (Multiple Family Residence - Planned
Development)..
District to the
Residential
2. An amended Sectional District Map NO. 10-5-10 showing
the abovedescribed changes in use district designations is
hereby adopted.
ADOPTED this 6%h day of May , 1985.
