NS- 1815 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2201 EAST FIRST STREET FROM THE R3H (HIGH DENSITY MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICT TO THE C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL} DISTRICT WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 934 has been filed to make a certain change in the zoning district designation of certain real property, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed public hearing, has recommended approval of the change in use district designation as proposed in said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this project based thereon; and WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hear- ing, has determined that the change in use district designation proposed in the abovesaid Amendment Application is justified by the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. That parcel of real property located generally at 2201 East First Street in the City of Santa Ana, and more specifically described as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incor- porated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the R3H (High-Density Multiple-Family Residence) District to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) District. ORDINANCE NO. NS-1815 PAGE TWO 2. An amended Sectional District Map No. 8-5-9 showing the abovedescribed change in use district designation is hereby adopted. LEWIS, AND WIFEt RECORDED IN BOOK 442, PAGE 154 OF DEEDS; THENCE NORTH 919.38 FEET ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LAND OF LEWIS TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER THEREOF; BEING A POINT ON THE CENTER LINE OF FOURTH STREET; EAST 487.41 FEET FROM THE NORTHERLY PROLONGATION OF THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT; THENCE EAST 236.94 FEET ALONG SAID CENTER LINE; THENCE SOUTH 919.94 FEET PARALLEL WITH SAID EAST LINE OF THE LAND OF LEWIS TO SAID CENTER LINE OF FIRST STREET; THENCE WEST 236.94 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. EXCEPT THE WEST HALF THEREOF. ALSO EXCEPT THE NORTH 300.00 FEET THEREOF.
