NS-2014 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LIST OF PERMITTED USES IN SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO. 16. WHEREAS, on July 6, 1981 the City Council adopted Ordinance No. NS-1589, rezoning certain property located at 600- 650 south Grand Avenue to the SD (Specific Development) district and adopting Specific Development Plan No. 16 for said property; and WHEREAS, on February 19, 1985, the City Council adopt- ed Ordinance No. NS-1762, amending Specific Development Plan No. 16 to provide for a mini-warehouse development on a portion of the property and an industrial park on the remainder; and WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. to request an expansion of uses permitted in portion of the property; 1027 has been filed the industrial park WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after duly noticed public hearing, has recommended approval of the change proposed in said Amendment Application; and WHEREAS, this Council, prior to adopting this ordinance, has reviewed the initial environmental study prepared for this project, and has approved the Negative Declaration for this Pro- ject based thereon; and WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing has determined that the change proposed in the abovesaid Amend- ment Application is justified by the public necessity, convenience and general welfare; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the permitted uses section of Specific Plan No. is hereby amended to read as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. 16 2. The following operational standards are added to Section IV of Specific Plan No. 16: Se There shall be no overnight outdoor storage of vehicles. b. Z. 3. A: 185,799 square foot mini-warehouse facility. 2,028 square foot caretaker's office and residence. Any use permitted under Parcel B, providing Parcel B setback and landscape requirements are met (Chestnut Ave, per Grand Avenue standards). Parcel B: 1. Accessory commercial uses which are necessary yet incidental to any other use permitted under this section (not to exceed 10t of total gross floor area and/or 10t of total sales activity). 2.
