ORDINANCE NO. NS- 2266
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTAANA REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF
GRAND AVENUE SOUTH OF FAIRHAVEN AVENUE FROM
THE A1 (GENERAL AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT TO THE
C5 (ARTERIAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT (AA NO.95-5)
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 95-5 has been filed to make a certain
change in the zoning district designation of certain property located on the west
side of Grand Avenue south of Fairhaven Avenue as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has determined
that the change in use district designation proposed in the abovesaid Amendment
Application are Justified by the public necessity, convenience and general
welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ARA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That certain real property located on the west side of Grand Avenue
south of Fairhaven Avenue and designated in Exhibits 1 and 2, attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the A1 (General
Agricultural) district to the C5 (Arterial Commercial) district.
2. Amended Sectional District Map number 6-5-9, showing the above
described change in use district designation, is hereby approved.
3. The mitigated negative declaration and mitigation monitoring program
prepared for this project by the environmental coordinator are hereby approved.
ADOPTED this 6th day of November , 1995.
