AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1718 WEST SIXTH STREET FROM THE Cl
( COI~IUNITY CONMERCIAL ) AND R2 (TWO-
FAMILY RESIDENCE) DISTRICTS TO THE SD
(SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT AND
ADOPTING SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO.
61 (AA NO. 96-2)
WHEREAS, Amendment Application No. 96-2 has been filed to change the zoning
district designation of certain property located at 1718 West Sixth Street as
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, has determined
that the change in use district designation proposed in the abovesaid Amendment
Application is justified by the public necessity, convenience and general
welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS~
1. Those parcels of real property designated in Exhibits i and 2, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby reclassified from the C1
(Community commercial) and R2 (Two-Family Residence) districts to the SD
(Specific Development) district.
2. That certain document entitled, "st. Francis Home, Facilities Master
Plan, 1718 West Sixth Street, Santa Aha, CA, Amendment Application No. 96-02,
Specific Development No. 61," dated March, 1996, on file in the Office of the
Clerk of the Council, incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved
and adopted as Specific Development Plan No. 61 for the property specified in
Section I of this ordinance. The Clerk of the Council is directed to designate
the adoption by this ordinance of said document as Specific Development Plan No.
61 on the face thereof and to maintain the same in the files of her office.
3. Amended Sectional District Map number 11-5-10 showing
described change in use district designation is hereby approved.
