HomeMy WebLinkAbout52-023RESOLUTION NO. 52-23 RESOLUTION PROPOSING TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY, GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON %~D~L~EALLPROTESTS WILL BE HEARD AND PASSED UPON, DESIGNATING THE NAME OF "SUNSHINE HOLIES" AS AN APPROPRIATE NAME FOR SAID TERRITORY ~EAS, Sunshine Homes has filed a petition requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California, annex certain uninhabited terri- tory to said City, consenting in writing that the property within said territory may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of Santa Ann hereby declares its intention to annex all that certain territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1931 which said territory is wholly uninhabited, is conti~uous to the City of Santa ~na, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as follows: The Northerly 660 feet of Lot J, of the Revised Plat of the West Tract, recorded in Book l, page 13, Misc. Maps of 0ran$e County, end more particularly described as follows: eginning at a point in the center line of Bristol St. distant 662.50 feet Northerly from the intersection of the center line of Edinger Street with the center line of said Bristol Street, thence Northerly along the center line of Bristol St. 660 feet to a point; thence Westerly and par- allel to the center line of Edinger St., 1320 feet to a point; thence Southerly and parallel to the center line of Bristol St. 660 feet to the Northwest corner of Tract No. 1508, recorded in Book 45, Page 40, Misc. Maps of Orange County; t hence Easterly along the Northerly line of said Tract 1508 a distance of 1320 feet to the point of beginning. That the Council hereby designates "SUNSHINE HONES" as an appropriate name for said annexation. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the 7th day of April, 1952 at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council chambers of the City Hall at the intersection of Third and Main Streets in the City of Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed at which the City Council will hear protests made by any person owning real property within said territory so proposed to be annexed. At any time before set hour, any owner of such property may file written protest against this proposed annexation.
