HomeMy WebLinkAbout52-028RESOLUTION ~Oi. ~2-28 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT BY CITY OFFICIALS OF ~EOTIONS 21 AND 22 OF AGREEMENT FOR HAINTENANCE OF STATE HIGHWAYS WITHIN CITIES. WHEREAS, t~xe City of Santa Ana and the Department of Public Works of the State cf California have heretofore entered into an agreement · ated July 17, 1950 providing for maintenance of State highways within sal~ City, and ~IIEBEA~, it is provided in Section 2 of said agreement that Sections 21 and 22 thereof may be modified with the consent of the pa~ties acting by and through their authorized representatives, and WHEP~EAS, the City Council cf the City of Santa Ana finds it convenient to authorize representatives to enter into amendments of Sections 21 and 22 of said agreement from time to time on behalf of said City, NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, that the City Engineer of the City of Santa Aha be and is hereby authorized to approve amendments of said agreement as to (a) The State highway routes affected by said agreement and the lemgths and descriptions thereof, all as set out in Section 21 of said agreement, and (b) The delegation and apportionment between said City and Department of Public Works of maintenance to be performed upon said routes, all as set out in Section 22 of said agreement, and that they, or individually, are hereby authorized to execute any such amendment of said agreement and to sign such amendment of said agreement on behalf of the City of Santa Aha. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of April, 1952.
