RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NUMBER 315
TO ELIMINATE YARD REQUIREMENTS W~t~E THE PLANNING
MISSION RECOMMENDED DENIAL
WI~e~EAS, heretofore, the Planning COmmission of the City of
Santa Ann held a public hearing on Application Number 315 for a
Variance covering the property hereinbelow described and thereafter
recommended to the City Council by Resolution Number 443, that the
proposed Variance be denied; and
WHEREAS, the City Council after conference with the applicants
and the protestantl and after having effected agreement between them,
having determined that under certain conditions herelnbelow set
forth, public safety and general welfare will not be endangered, that
property values in the vicinity will not be adversely affected and
that said Variance should be granted;
NOW, THEREF~R$, BE 1T RESOLve: That the Variance is hereby
granted eowsring property in the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange,
State of California, described as
Lots 22, 23, 25 and 26, all in Block "C" of Tract No.
603 as shown on a map recorded in Book 19, Page 6,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Cali-
fornia
to allow under the conditions hereinbelow set forth, a waiver of
market building area limits and a waiver of front, side and rear yard
requirements for such building on said Lot 23 and to permit off street
parking within the required yard areas on Lots 22, 25, and 26 pro-
vided the following conditions are provided, maintained and adhered
to:
That the easterly 24 feet of the market building on said Lot
23 does ~ot exceed 10 feet in height at any point; that the parking
area on Lot 22 shall have constructed and maintained ia good re-
pair along its easterly boundary, a concrete block wall 6 feet in
height and that said Lot 22 be not advertised as a parking lot but
that it carry enly a sign to read "service entrance"; that all
parking areas on any of said Lots be surfaced with "b~lae~ top" ma-
terial and be maintained in a good state of repair and free of trash
and rubbish and have g~ard rails so placed as to prevent cars from
extending over any property line.
PA~-~ED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Aaa at
its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of June, 1952.

introduced and read to the said Council at its regular meeting held
on the 2nd day of ~une, 1952 and was at said meeting regularly passed
and adopted by said Council by the following vote, to-wit:
