In accordance with the provisions of Section 17~o5 of
the Labor Code as amended by Chapter 971~ Sta~tes of 1939,

Apprenticeship council, properly indentured apprentices may
be employed in the prosecution o£ the work.
The bidder nmst submit with hi~ proposal a
cheek certified by a responsible b~nk and payable to the
of the City of Santa Aha, or a bidder's bond~ for an ~mount
not less than ten (10) per sent of the aggregate s~m of tho
bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will ente~ into the pro-
posed contract if the same is awarded to him, and in event of

The amount of the bond to be given to secu~ a faithful
pe~£ovmanee of the contract for said work shall be fifty (50)
per cent of the contract price thereof~ and an additional bond
in an amount equal to fifty (50) Dorcent of the contract price
for said work shall be given to secure the payment of claimm
for any materials or supplies furnished for the p~fo~n~nce
of the work contracted to be done by the Contractor~ or any
work or labor of any kind done thereon~ and the Contv~cto~ will
also be required to furnish a certificate that he ca.rios oom~
pensation insurance covering his emDloyeos upon ~ork to be
dgne under contract which may be entered into bet~een him and
the said City,for the construction of said

will be furnished upon application to the City Engineer for
which a cha~ge or--dollars will be required. The
