RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DETERMI-
NING THE NATURE, LOCATION AND EXTENT OF
IMPROVEMENTS: MAKING OTHER DETERMINATIONS
REQUIRED BY THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT IN-
VESTIGATION, LIMITATION AND MAJORITY PRO-
TEST ACT OF 1931 AND ORDERING A WRITTEN
REPORT UNDER SAID ACT.
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore on this
date approved plans and specifications, designated, respec-
tively, "Plan No. 195" and "Specifications No. 195," for
certain proposed street work in the City of Santa Aha, and
this City Council has ordered said plans and specifications
filed with the City Clerk of said City, and said plans and
specifications are on file with said City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, this City Council has heretofore on this
date approved the assessment district map designated "Map of
Assessment District No. 195" and ordered the same filed with
said City Clerk, andsaid map is on file with said City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that the City Engineer
prepare and present to this City Council a written report
for said work in accordance with the provisions of the Special
Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Actor ~31,
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Tha~ in general, the nature, location
and extent of said proposed work or improvement is shown on
said plans and specifications and reference is hereby made
to said plans and specifications for a description of the
nature, location and extent of such work or improvement and
for all particulars relative thereto.
Section 2. That the boundaries of the district
or lands to be specially assessed to pay the cost of said
proposed improvement are shown on said assessment district
map, which map shall govern for all details as to the extent
of the district.
Section 3. That the proceedings for said proposed
work or improvement shall be conducted under and pursuant to
the Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.
Section 4. That the City Engineer is hereby
directed to procure the required information and prepare and
present to this City Council the written report on said work
or improvement required by said Special Assessment Investi-
gation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of
