RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
WHEREAS, there is presently located on the right of way of St.
Gertrudes Place, a pumping plant, well and pump house; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is proceeding with the formation
of Assessment District No. 195 for the purpose, among other things,
of paving St. Gertrudes Place and improving the same with a pave-
ment 40 feet in width;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City
of Santa Aha does find and declare that the well, pump, and other
equipment and the pumphouse which is 5.8 feet in North and South
dimensions and 7.2 feet in East and West dimensions, located in the
public street or highway known as St. Gertrudes Place in said City,
the west wall of which said building is approximately 41.46 feet
East of the center line of Maple Street and the north well of said
building which is approximately 12.9 feet South of the center line
of St. Gertrudes Place, is a public nuisance as defined in Section
3479 of the Civil Code and the City Attorney is hereby instructed to
file an action for the removal and abatement of the same.

regular meeting held on the 16 day of February ,
