WHEREAS, that portion of the State Freeway ~nown as
the Santa Ana Freeway betwcen Main Street in Santa Ana and the
northwesterly limits of Santa Aha is still in the planning stage;
and
WHEREAS, it appears to the best interestB of the City
of Santa Ana that a grade separated traffic exchange be established
at the northerly extension of Bristol Street connecting with the
westerly extension of La Veta Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Santa Aha
reconm.~end to the Division of Highways of the State of California
that a grade separated traffic exchange be established on the Santa
Ana Freeway at the northerly extension of Bristol Street connecting
with the westerly extension of La Veta Avenue and that the existing
Freeway agreement be amended accordingly.
RESOLVED FURTHER that a copy of this Resolution be fo~wTarded
to the Division of Highways of the State of California and the County
of Orange.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana at its re~alar meeting held on the 16th day of March, 1.953.
