RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ORDERING FILING OF
ESTIMATE AND REVISED PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
STREET WORK.
WHEREAS, This City Council of the City of santa
Ana has heretofore by Resolution No. 53-5, adopted on
January 5, 1953, approved certain plans and specifications
for certain street work in the City of Santa Aha, Cali-
fornia, said plans and specifications being designated,
respectively, "Plan No. 195" consisting of 13 sheets num-
bered i to 13, inclusive, and "Specifications No. 195"; and
WHEREAS, a report has been filed and proceedings
have been taken under and pursuant to the Special Assess-
ment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of
1931, Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, and this
City Council by Resolution No. 53-23, adopted on March 2,
1953, has determined that public interest, convenience and
necessity require the work or improvement substantially as
set forth in said report and that the project for said work
or improvement is feasible; and
WHEREAS, this City Council deems it desirable to
make certain omissions, decreases, alterations or changes in
the work proposed to be done in said report; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared and pre-
sented to this City Council an estimate describing and stat-
ing separately the cost of each such omission, decrease,
alteration or change in the things proposed to be done, as set
forth in said report, said estimate further showing that said
omissions, decreases, alterations or changes will not increase
the estimated cost of said proposed work, as set forth in said
report, by more than one-tenth or at all; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared and presented
to this City Council revised plans and specifications for said
street work designated, respectively, "Revised Plan No. 195~"
consisting of 13 sheets numbered I to 13, inclusive, and
"Revised Specifications No. 195," said revised plans and speci-
fications showing and describing said street work in accord-
ance with each change or alteration set forth in said estimate;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That said estimate, revised plans, and
revised specifications are hereby approved and ordered to be
filed with the City Clerk of said city.
Section 2. That the work or improvement proposed
to be done, as set forth in said report, be omitted, decreased,
altered, changed or modified in accordance with said estimate
of the City Engineer.
