WHEREAS, RAINSPRAY INC., a California Corporation, has presented
to the City Council, a grant deed dated May 15, 1953 granting certain
real prmperty in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of
California described as:
Those portions of Lots 2 and 3 of the Mabury Tract in the City of
Santa Aha, as shown on a map marked referee's "Exhibit B" recorded
in book 165, page 301 of Deeds of ~os Angeles County, California,
and that portion of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section 2, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, in the Rancho Las
Bolsas, partly in the City of Santa ~na, all in the County of
Orange, State of California, as the Southwest quarter of Section 2
is shown on Record of Survey map filed in book 15, page 40 of Record
of Surveys of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southerly terminus of the established boundary
line defined in an agreement recorded May 2, 1933 in book 615,
page 36 of Official Records of said Orange County, being also
the Southeast corner of the land described in deed to H. L.
WAKEHAM, et ux recorded December 31. 1937 in Book 914, pag9 599
of Official Records of said Orange County; thence North 89u 48'
30" West 412.30 feet to a point 20 feet Easterly measured at
right angles from the dyke of the Santa ~na River; thence North
49° 57' 15" East 814.02 feet parallel with said dyke; thence
North 48° ll' 15" East 422.90 feet to the Westerly prolongation
of the Northerl~ line of the property defined in said agreement;
thence South 89 48' 30" East 61.$0 feet to the Northerly terminus
of the above mentioned boundary lihe; thence Oouth 36° 04' 30"
West 998.33 feet to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha ac-
cepts said deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to
cause said deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange
County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of June ,
1953.
