WHEREAS, FRANK P. BORCHARD and MYRTLE F. BORCHARD, husband and
wife, have presented to the City Council, an easement deed June 15,
1953 conveying an easement across that certain real property in the
City Of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described
as:
All that certain land situated in the Rancho Santiago de
Santa Aha, Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point 1320 feet S. 0° 31' 45" W. and
1339.21 feet N. 89v 14' 15" E. of the Southwest corner of
the Tract of land allotted to N. O. Stafford and C. Tuatin
in partition of said Rancho by the late 17th Judicial District
Court of the State of California, in and for Los Angeles Coun-
ty Case ~1192, said point being on the East line of the pres-
ent 40 foot strip belonging to the Pacific Electri8 Railway,
Company; thence from said point of beginning N. 89 14' 15"
E. along the South line of that certain 40 acre tract of
land conveyed by Robert McFadden and James McFadden to Arch-
ibald McFadden by deed recorded in Book 300, Page 99 of
deeds, Records of ALos Angeles County, California, 1300.lQ
feet; thence S. 0u 36' 15" W. 2388.10 feet; ~hence N. 89~
19' 15" W. 1296.30 feet to the point on the East line of
said 40 foot strip b~longing to the Pacific Electric Railway
Company; thence N. 0v 32' 15" E. along the East line of
said 40 foot strip 2356.63 feet to the point of beginning,
estimated to contain 70.702 Acres.
Grantors reserve, as appurtenances to said tract of 70.702
acres, all rights and title in said twenty foot strip and
uses of the surfsce thereof, subject only to the reasonable
use and enjoyment of the said easement hereinabove granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha ac-
cepts said deed for easement across the property hereinabove described.
The Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said deed to be
recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of August ,
