V~?IEREAS, LOUIS SCHUI~\~N has filed a petition requesting tf~e
City of Santa Ann, California to annex certain uninhabited territory
to said City, consenting in writing that the property within said
territory may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said
City contracted prior to such annexation;
NO,g, Tid-EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City
of Santa aaa hereby declares its intention to annex all that cer-
tala territory under the provisions of the ~nnexation of Uninhabi-
ted Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said
territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered
voters residing in it o~iA~gu~t i'gth~ 1953, the date when said petition
was filed, and which said territory is contiguous to the City of
Santa Ann, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described
as:
Taat portion of Lots 15 and 16 of Potts, Borden and
Sidwell Tract, as recorded in ~iscellaneous Records, Book
Page 624, Records of Los Angeles ~ounty, California not in-
cluded within the City of Santa ~na, California, said por-
tion being described more particularly as follows:
Beginning at the point of ~ntersection of the South
line of said Lot 15 wi~he City Lilaits of S~nta Ann, run-
ning t~ence ~"~esterly aIong t~e South lines of said Lots 15
and 16 to the Southwest corner of said Lo~ 16, t~ence North-
erly along the \~est line of said Lot 16 to the Northwest cor-
ner thereof, thence Easterly along the North lines of said
Lots 16 and 15 to the City Limits of Santa ~na, thence South-
easterly and Southerly along the City Limits of oanta ~na
to the point of beginning.
That the Council hereby designates "SCP~I~N Ai~EY~TI01~" as
an appropriate name for said ~nnexation.

NOTICE IS h~REBY GIVEN THAT the 13th day of October __, 1953
the hour of 7:~0 P. ~. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
the intersection of Third and l~in Streets in tae City of Santa
is the time and place fixed at which t~e City
Council will hear protests made by any person owning real property
within said territory so proposed to be annexed. At any time before
said hour, any owner of such property may file written protest S~ainst
this proposed annexation. ~uch protest shoulc state the name of the
owner and a description and area of the property in general terms.
