CLOSinG OF A PORTION OF HICKORY STREET SOUTH 0F MYRTLE STREET
AND NORTH OF BISHOP STREET
WPIEREAS, heretofore, the City Council of the City of Santa Ann,
on the 5th day of October, 1953, regularly passed and adopted Resolu-
tion No. 53-143 declaring its intention to vacate and abandon a por-
tion of Hickory Street; and
bHEREAS, notice of said intention was duly posted as required
by Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code; and
WH~]REAS, public nearing was regularly held on the 16th day of
November, 1953 at the hour of 7:30 P. M. in the Council Chambers in
tae City Hall of Santa ~na, California upon due notice in said Reso-
lution and said posted notes contained;
NOW, THEREFORE, A~'T~ DUE H~RING, BE IT RESOLVED: That tl~e
City Council of the City of Santa Ann hereby finds, from all the
evidence submitted, that the portion of Hickory Street hereinbelow
and in said Resolution described is unnecessary for the present or
prospective public street purposes.
BE IT FURTPIPJR RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of
Santa Ann hereby makes its Order vacating, abandoning and closing up
for street purposes, that certain parcel of real property ~eing in
the City of Santa Ann, County of Orange, State of California and
descrioed as follows:
That portion of 'Hickory Street in Tract No. 343 South of the
South line of Myrtle Street, said portion of Hickory Street
being 50 feet wide from ~ast to ~est, 141.26 feet on the East
side and 150 feet on the West side
PASSED A~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa ~ne
at its regular meeting held on the 16th dey of November ,
1953.
