PROVAL
~t~TEREAS, Variance Application No. ~43 seeking a variance to
allow the construction of a residence and carport to within ~ feet
of the back lot line behind a residence located at 801 N. Louise St.,
Santa Aha, California was filed by NELLE ~. LIPE; and
~tEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold public hearing
thereon and did recommend the granting of such variance to reduce
the rear yard to 4 feet and to allow a second r~sidence in this
R-l, Single Family Residence District; and
~IEREAS, the City Council held public hearing on said Variance
Application on December 7, 1953;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds
that material damage would result to other properties in the neighbor-
hood by the redu,tion of the rear lot line to $ feet and that said
variance does not meet the requirements for the granting thereof, and,
therefore, the granting of said variance is hereby denied.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City C~uncil of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of De-
cember, 1953.
