MENT T0' DESIGNATE FIRST STREET FROM MAIN TO THE EAST
CITY LIMITS AS A MAJOR CITY STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aaa has received notice from the
State Highway Department that First Street from Main to the East
City Limits will no longer be a State Highway Route through the City;
and
WHEREAS, said Street is an important link and part of the high-
way system of the City of Santa Ann and the County of Orange;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Santa Aaa hereby designates First Street from Main to the
East City Limits as a Major City Street because of its importance to
the integrated Highway System as it now exists in said City and the
County of Orange and requests the Highway Department of the State of
California to approve such designation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by t~e City Council of the City of Santa Ann
